Thursday Five: Dinner Gala Friday, Rte. 104 Work, Budget, Breakfast

Welcome to Thursday, and check out these things to know:

 

St. Philip 50/50 Dinner Gala - This year’s 50/50 Dinner Gala is Friday, May 3 at Twin River Event Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are still available at $40 each.

RAFFLE: The tuition/cash raffle tickets are also still available. The cost of each ticket is $50, and you have a chance to win $5,000.

CLASSROOM CREATIONS: The committee realizes that it is a busy time of year, so if you are unable to attend the event, you can proxy bid on your son or daughter’s classroom creation. If you are interested in bidding, please email Brandy Narducci at brandy.narducci@yahoo.com, prior to midnight today.

Part of Rte. 104 North closed Thursday - Rte. 104 North (Farnum Pike), from Rte. 116 (George Washington Highway) to Industrial Dr., right shoulder closed for bridge inspection Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Budget dates: The Town of Smithfield will hold its Public Budget Hearing Tuesday, May 14. The Financial Town Meeting will be held Thursday, June 13. Both meetings at Smithfield High School, 7 p.m.
