Land Trust - The Smithfield Land Trust meets the first Thursday of each month at Smithfield Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike.
Tracker class - Join an Audubon expert and learn how to identify local mammal tracks and other animal signs Saturday, Jan. 5, 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge, 12 Sanderson Road. Start inside with a presentation to go over track patterns, terms, and models. Then take a short hike on the trails to see what kinds of tracks and signs can be found. Trash - Normal scheduled pickups are one day later thanks to the holiday week (For example, for a Monday holiday, Monday pickup is Tuesday, Tuesday pickup is Wednesday ..and Friday pickup is Saturday.)
