Tucker Road Man Advised To Use Care While Naked
Smithfield Police responded to local home after a woman reported seeing a man walking around his house sans clothes.

If you're going to stride around your home in your birthday suit, you'd best pay strategic attention to the location of your windows.
Such was the advice Smithfield Det. Douglas S. Cerce Jr. wound up delivering to a man on Tucker Road March 26 at about 2:46 p.m. when a woman called to report she'd seen a man walking in his house, naked, through a doorway.

The woman called police, according to Cerce's report, because she was concerned children getting out of school around that time might also see the man walking around naked.
Cerce used the woman's description of the home to narrow down the possible addresses, then he and two other officers knocked on the man's door, explaining a passer-by had witnessed him walking around naked, and her concern.

The man responded that he had not been in his doorway or window naked, according to Cerces' report. Cerce noted he had not told the man the woman had seen him in the doorway.
Cerce advised the man to use more care when he is nude.
