Welcome to Tuesday, Smithfield - here are some things to know:

Town Council - The Smithfield Town Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. in Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike. They'll start with an executive session for three items: 1)Interview for the position of Smithfield Probate Judge 2) Discussion of possible tax treaty and possible disposition of Town property and 3) Status of Churchill & Banks suit.

- A show-cause hearing to consider the possible suspension or revocation of the liquor license for Rocco’s LLC d/b/a Rocco’s Pub & Grub, 55 Douglas Pike.
- Consider authorizing an RFP for Ice Rink concession services.
- Discuss and act upon submission of a Resolution to the General Assembly in support of the Bryant University Bill.
Board post openings - The town is seeking members to serve on the Sewer Authority, Historic Preservation Commission, Affordable Housing Advisory Board, and Financial Review Commission. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to the Town Manager’s Office, 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 along with an application form. A letter of interest may contain your interest or experience in the field of each particular board or commission that you are applying for and, optionally, résumé information.
Audubon Jobs - The Audubon Society of RI is looking to fill a Sr. Director of Philanthropy position, among other jobs. Polish up that resume!
