Tuesday: Retiring EMS Officers, Speak up, Tree Pickup

Town Council - The Smithfield Town Council Meets tonight, 7 p.m. at Smithfield Town Hall. Among the items on their agenda, they'll discuss the retirement of EMS Captain Leonard Anthony and Lieutenant Robert Peters, and hold a hearing on the renewal of several victualing and liquor licenses.

Christmas Tree Pickup - The town will pick up discarded Christmas trees on normal scheduled pickup days Jan. 7 – 11. Remove all tree bags, tinsel, ornaments, stands, etc.
