Family-Friendly April Fool's Day Pranks and Jokes

April Fool's Day is all about spreading some good cheer - and some good old fashioned shenanigans of course.

Patch compiled a list of quick and dirty pranks that are sure to catch some laughs, but are harmless enough not to catch any angry backlash. 

1. Borrow a friend or family member's cell phone and change the language setting to Mandarin Chinese. Just make sure you are able to change it back to the proper setting!
2. Place a rubberband around the kitchen sink hose - this way whenever someone turns on the sink to wash a dish or there hands, they'll be sprayed in the face instead.
3. Bring multiple sets of clothes to work, change every hour, and act like nothing’s different.
4. Put some powder on top of the ceiling fan blades and wait for someone to turn it on!
5. Place a small piece of Post-it note over the ball or laser sensor under someone’s computer mouse so that it won’t work.
6. Fill an oreo with tooth paste and give it to someone who you know is not allergic to either ingredient.
7. Add food coloring to milk that comes in a cardboard container.
8. Leave a note on someone’s car apologizing for an accident that never actually happened.
   
   
9. Hard-boil all the eggs in the refrigerator and place them back into the carton.
10. Fill someone’s car with balloons.
