22-Year-Old Tiverton Man Charged With Heroin Possession
Tiverton Police arrested a Tiverton man last Tuesday after finding him in possession of four bags of heroin at a Dunkin Donuts on Main Road.

Tiverton Police arrested a 22-year-old Tiverton man on charges of heroin possession on Tuesday, Jan. 22 after determining he was wanted by Second Division District Court.
According to police reports, a local detective observed Todd Davis, of 2 Dupree Road, Tiverton, and a female friend inside the Dunkin Donuts on Main Road in north Tiverton. Being familiar with Davis, the detective knew he was wanted on a bench warrant and called in a patrol officer to assist with Davis' arrest.
As police entered the cafe and approached Davis, they allegedly watched him attempt to empty his pockets and hand a substance off to his female companion. Police recovered four small baggies, all containing a substance that later tested positive for heroin.

Davis was charged with one count of felony heroin possession and arrested on the district court warrant. He was processed at police headquarters on Industrial Way and later arraigned in Second Division District Court.
