Erratic Driving Leads To Two Arrests in Little Compton

A good Samaritan report to the Little Compton Police about an erratic driver all over the road lead to two arrests on Tuesday, April 16. Just after 7:30 p.m. police stopped a car driven by Leslie Almeida , 51, of 58 Fourth Street, Fall River, MA. Police arrested Almeida at 7:40 p.m. and charged her with driving after suspension of her license after a computer check showed her license had been revoked.

Kyle Walker, 19, of 18 Lewis Place, Lynn, MA was arrested on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:40 p.m. and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon other than firearms. He was a passenger in Almeida's car.

Providence Teen Arrested for DUI, Vandalism in Little Compton

David Diaz, 19, of 18 Evergreen Street Apt 3, Providence, was arrested on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:19 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, and vandalism. Police arrested Diaz after he allegedly harassed pedestrians walking on the side of West Main Road. Diaz later admitted to causing damage to a car’s window at Warren’s Point Beach parking lot and he was also charged with vandalism. 

Westport Teen Charged with Driving Under the Influence

Alyson L. Leonard, 19, of 1 Lindera Drive, Westport, MA, was arrested on Saturday, April 20 at 9:55 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence, first offense. Police found Leonard after a motorist called to report that her car had driven off of the road at Willow Avenue and Peckham Road and was stuck in a ditch.
