Caregiver Support Group: The in Little Compton will be holding a caregiver support group session at 2:00pm today at its facility at 115 E Main Rd, Little Compton. The Nancy Brayton Osborn Adult Day Center is part of Cornerstone Adult Services and a member of Saint Elizabeth Community. The adult day center provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for seniors and adults with disabilities.
The Concepts of Writing & Publishing: Join J. Michael Squatrito, Jr. (author of the Overlords) at the at 6:00pm to learn The Concepts of Writing & Publishing, a two hour presentation on the basics of getting started writing and having your work published. Mike is an experienced and engaging teacher who has run many popular programs at Essex as well as other public libraries and colleges.
Senior Community Luncheon: Come meet with other seniors at the at 11:30am. The Little Compton Community Center is located at 34 Commons in Little Compton. A fixture in between the Town Hall and Maintenance Department, the Little Compton Community Center offers an array of activities and opportunities, such as after school child care, a senior meal program, a youth program, summer camps, a community theatre, rental facilities and much more.

Little Compton Conservation Commission: Meets tonight at 7:30pm at Little Compron Town Hall in Council Chambers
This Day in History: On this day in 1978, Louise Joy Brown, the world's first baby to be conceived via in vitro fertilization (IVF) is born at Oldham and District General Hospital in Manchester, England, to parents Lesley and Peter Brown. The healthy baby was delivered shortly before midnight by caesarean section and weighed in at five pounds, 12 ounces.
