Tiverton-Little Compton Runners OK After Bombs Explode At Boston Marathon Finish

All five Boston Marathon runners from Tiverton and Little Compton have been confirmed safe by friends and relatives on social media following a pair of explosions at the finish of the race killed two and injured more than 100 people on Monday.

Tiverton runner Michael Yelnosky was the last athlete heard from, though he did cross the finish line in Wave 1 with a finial time of 3:29:49.

Two other Tiverton runners, Susan E. Kent, 48; Adam S. Tebbs, 31; ran beside Yelonsky, 52 in the 26.2-miles race. Kent finished with a total time of 4:03:47 and Tebbs' final time is not available on the Boston Athletic Association website presumably because he finished after the explosions.

Tebbs' wife Janna, squelched concerns of friends and family in Tiverton, telling them that they were safe via Facebook on Monday afternoon.

Little Compton runners Dan Murphy, 54, and Joseph E. Maiato, 19 were also safe. Murphy's daughter posted that she and her father were safe on Facebook. Maiato, although registered for the race, did not run.

Murphy finished the race today with a total time of 3:22:32.
