Fall River Man Charged With Pot Possession, Obstructing an Officer

Tedeau Semedo, 20, of Fall River, was arrested on Saturday, March 16 at 10:28 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, and obstructing an officer in execution of duty. According to reports, police were called to a Long Highway home for a report of an unwanted man at the home. during the investigation, police found Semedo, searched his person and found the marijuana, and charged him with obstruction after he allegedly supplied police with a false date of birth.

On March 11 at 9:27 a.m. Little Compton police received a complaint that that several real estate signs around town were taken down.

Little Compton Police noted on March 14 at 9:25 a.m. that several traffic signs, electrical boxes, stone pillars and roadways had been vandalized with spray paint throughout the town.

Little Compton Residents Receive Scam Calls

A resident reported on March 16 at 9:58 a.m. that they nearly fell victim to a telephone scam. According to reports, someone had called the resident requesting pre-paid credit cards in exchange for a large cash prize.
