Man Shot In Drive-By At Benjamin's Sports Pub
A man was shot in the back during a drive-by shooting at the Stafford Road Pub on Saturday.

A drive-by shooting at Benjamin's Sports Pub on Saturday night left one man in the hospital with a gunshot wound to his back, according to Tiverton Police.
A bullet after someone driving past the bar fired two shots into the building at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The victim was transported to the hospital via Tiverton rescue with non-life threatening injuries. A
About 60 patrons were inside the Stafford Road pub at the time when someone drove by and shot at the bar, shattering a glass door.

Police were able to track down and arrest the suspected shooter on Sunday, said Tiverton Police Chief Thomas Blakey.
"It was a joint investigation by Tiverton and Fall River that led us to the suspects home in Fall River," said Blakey. "With the a vehicle identification obtained and speaking with witnesses"
Police arrested the suspect - who was not identified by the police - at his Fall River home after finding the semi-automatic weapon allegedly used in the drive-by shooting.
Police are investigating the incident.
