Missing Little Compton Man's Body Found

LITTLE COMPTON, RI—The search for a man who went missing in Little Compton has ended in tragedy.

Michael Godles, 39, went missing on April 26 and was last seen in his backyard.

On Saturday, his body was found in Little Compton at around 1:30 p.m., according to police.

Godles' body was turned over to the State Medical Examiner.

Godles, who was the subject of a search effort last weekend, went missing without his medication.

Police chief Antone Marion, in a release, said that police still want to talk to anyone who had contact with Godles or knew of his whereabouts the last week.
