Reflective Vests, Leashes Available To Little Compton Residents

LITTLE COMPTON, RI — The Little Compton Police Department launched a new initiative aimed at increasing pedestrian safety in the town. Thanks to an anonymous donor, reflective vests are dog leashes are available to residents, free of charge.

"At this time of year day light is at a premium and we want everyone to continue to get exercise for themselves and their pets in the safest possible manner," the department said.

The leashes and vests are available for pickup at police headquarters. A limited number are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vests come in sizes large through extra-extra-large.
