SOUND OFF: Who Should Be Tiverton's Next Town Administrator?
After the surprise resignation of Tiverton's town administrator Monday, who do you think the Town Council should appoint as an interim town administrator?

The resignation of Tiverton Town Administrator James Goncalo was a surprise for many Monday night.
Goncalo reportedly announced his retirement during an executive session of the Tiverton Town Council Monday night.
The announcement came on the heels of a State Police investigation of Tiverton's Maintenance Director Robert Martin, who is accused of working on personal property during town time.
While news spread of Goncalo's retirement, many Tiverton-Little Compton Patch users offered suggestions for a replacement.
Louis Cypher wrote: I KNOW TWO VERY DISTINGUISHED RETIRED COUNCILORS THAT WOULD BE PLEASED TO RUN THE TOWN AGAIN.
According to the Tiverton charter, the town council shall designate the town clerk as acting town administrator until an interim town administrator is appointed.
The town council can appoint an interim town administrator to serve for six months until a permanent town administrator is appointed.
We want to know what you think. Who do you think should be appointed as interim town administrator? Tell us in the comment section below!
