Strong Thunderstorms To Hit Narragansett Bay
A strong thunderstorm is currently being tracked near North Kingstown and expected to hit the area later this morning.
Strong thunderstorms are expected to hit Narragansett Bay and southeast Massachusetts laster this morning, according to the National Weather Service.Â
A strong thunderstorm was spotted at 9:40 a.m. near North Kingstown, moving northeast at 30 mph.Â
Brief downpours and wind gusts, reaching 30 mph, can be expected. Minor flooding is also possible.Â
The thunderstorms are expected to impact Bristol, Barrington, East Greenwich, Warren, Swansea, Tiverton, Westport, Portsmouth and Prudence Island.Â
