Tiverton Cleanup Week Kicks Off on Saturday
Join cleanup efforts across Tiverton from April 13 - 20.

Tiverton's annual cleanup week kicks off on Saturday, April 13 at Grinnel's Beach at 9 a.m.
For seven days, residents across Tiverton will lend a hand in picking up litter. Sign-up sheets are available at Coastal Roasters and Essex Library for a specific location, or clean up an area of your choice.
Sponsored by the Tiverton Garden Club, the Tiverton Litter Committee, the Tiverton Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide green bags to all participants.

The DPW approved green bags and gloves are available at Essex Library.
Green bags cannot be left outside for curbside pickup and will only be collected at designated drop-off areas around town. For more information call Marcia, DPW, at 401-625-6760 or Bonnie at 774-644-9050.

DPW APPROVED GREEN BAG DROP OFF SITES:
- Entrance to Grinnell’s Beach,
- DPW garage - inside concrete blocks near the salt shed.
- Fogland Beach - by the bathhouse.
- Old Ranger School - to the left side of the building.
- Bulgarmarsh Playground - in the parking area.
- Bayview Playground - by the fence at the bottom of Hooper Street.
- Entrance of Seapowet Management Area.
- Town Dump - in the back of the restrooms.
- Crandall Road Fire Station in the area designated by an orange cone.
- East Road Fire Station - also in the area designated by an orange cone.
A raffle will be held and prizes given out but cleanup week participants must attend Saturday's kickoff meeting to be eligible to win. The Tiverton Litter Committee will provide the prizes.
