Tiverton Man Arrested For Violating No Contact Order Against Family
Robert Pimental, 45, of 120 Horizon Drive, Tiverton, was arrested on Thursday, April 11 at 6:27 p.m. and charged with violating a protective order blocking him from seeing his former wife and two children. According to police reports, Tiverton Police received a 911 call at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9 that Pimental had attempted to see his family, but had left by the time police arrived. Two days later police arrested Pimental at his home.

Sara J. Chemelowski, 24, of 24 Main Road Apt. 1R, Tiverton, was arrested on Thursday, April 11 at about 9:47 p.m. after an officer saw her speeding and tailgating another car while driving on Main Road. Police alledge Chemelowski was traveling nearly twice the speed limit - 47 mph in a marked 25 mph zone. Police pulled Chemelowski over and noted that she appeared intoxicated. Chemelowski failed a field sobriety test, registered a .193 on a preliminary breath test, but later refused a Breathalyzer at police headquarters.

Police charged Chemelowski with driving under the influence, first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and several motor vehicle infractions.
Chemelowski was arraigned in Second Division District Court on Friday April 12.
