Tiverton Man Hurt After West Main Road Crash
Log: Little Compton police said the man was hospitalized after crashing into a utility pole. Plus: 12 incidents and one arrest last week.

LITTLE COMPTON, RI—Little Compton police reported one arrest for a motor vehicle infraction, 12 incidents that led to a police response and one crash with injuries last week.
Police said the driver of the crash, identified as Brett Marshall, 26, of Tiverton, hit a utility pole on West Main Road while driving south on July 20 at around 5:42 a.m. He was transported to the hospital for treatment and his vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
Later on July 20, police arrested a 29-year-old Fall River, MA man after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at around 5:06 p.m. Police said a check showed he didn't have a valid license and he was given a court summons for driving with a revoked license. He was released at the scene.

July 18
10:38 a.m.: A West Main Road resident reported credit card fraud. Police are investigating.

July 20
3:01 a.m.: Police responded to a Friendship Farm Lane house for the report of a domestic disturbance. Police determined it was verbal in nature and it was peacefully resolved.
July 21
2:50 p.m.:s A debit card was found in the Commons and was turned into Police.
July 22:
9:45 a.m.: A Pennsylvania Road resident report a larceny under $1500. Police are investigating.
1:49 p.m.: A FedEx carrier was bit by a dog while delivering a package. The carrier received minor injuries. The dog’s owner was issued an order of strict confinement.
2:56 p.m.: Police responded to Long Highway for the report of a dog that was struck by a vehicle. The animal was transported to the animal ER for treatment.
July 23
10:43 a.m.: Police responded to complaints on Ocean Drive of unauthorized parking of vehicles for the beach.
12:56 p.m.: A wallet was found in the Commons and was turned into Police.
3:29 p.m.: Police responded to Warren’s Point Beach Club to remove an unwanted individual. The person left without incident.
July 24
3:12 a.m.: Police responded to Seaspray Way for the report of a domestic disturbance. Officers determined it was a verbal in nature and was peacefully resolved.
11:06 a.m.: Police responded to complaints on Ocean Drive of unauthorized parking of vehicles for the beach. 1
1:23 p.m.: Officers transported a white mixed breed dog to Sakonnet Vets found wandering on the south end of Long Highway.
