Drunk and Disoderly Leads To Night In Jail
Derek Paul Luz, 22, of 65 Lucas St., New Bedford, MA, was arrested on Saturday, April 6 at 10:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a scene at a local restaurant when a bartender refused to serve him any more drinks. Tiverton Police found Luz, who was reportedly highly intoxicated, yelling and screaming in the bar area at Spring Primavera Restaurant. When Luz refused to calm down even for police, he was arrested for his disorderly behavior and held overnight at Tiverton Police headquarters. He was arraigned the next day in Second Division District Court.

Domestic Charge
Scott Davis, 42, of 288 Hilton St., Tiverton, turned himself into police headquarters at 5:35 p.m. on Friday, April 5. He was wanted on an arrest warrant stemming from an alleged fight on March 31 with his son.
