Twelfth Night Comes Early To Sandywoods This Saturday

Check out this great event happening in Tiverton on Saturday.

What's better than free Shakespeare?

A free public performance of Twelfth Night by actors from The Brown University and Trinity Rep's MFA Programs will take place at Sandywoods, 43 Muse Way, on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m.

Directed by Dan Rogers (Brown/Trinity Rep ’15), this performance is full of gender-bending disguises. Twelfth Night takes you on a roller coaster of unexpected turns and confirms that love is so much more than meets the eye.

Spurned suitors, servants with delusions of grandeur, and cross-dressing confusion - it’s a hot mess that’s likely to put someone in the madhouse.

Starring members of the Brown/Trinity class of 2015: Sophie Netanel, Ralph Adriel Johnson, Marina Shay, Michael Jennings Mahoney, Ian McNeely, Max Wolkowitz, Whitney White, Andrew Polec, Elise Hudson, Billy Finn, Uche Elueze, Shelley Fort, Devon Caraway, and Britt Faulker.

The Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Programs provides a three-year professional training program for eighteen students under the auspices of an Ivy League University and Rhode Island’s Tony Award-winning theater company.

Brown University’s Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance is internationally recognized for the quality of its faculty and instruction. Trinity Rep, with its deep tradition of resident artists, provides powerful artistic assets and creates a firm foundation for a new generation of theater artists.
