Lt. Gov. McKee Visits Warwick COVID Vaccination Site
McKee and Mayor Frank Picozzi toured the vaccination clinic at Veteran's Middle School on Monday morning.

WARWICK, RI — Lt. Gov. Dan McKee visited the city's newly-opened COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Veteran's Middle School on Monday in a tour hosted by Mayor Frank Picozzi.
Currently, the clinic is providing coronavirus vaccinations to residents 65 and older. On its first day, 640 doses were administered, Picozzi said.
McKee has said that expanding vaccine capacity will be a top focus of his administration as Rhode Island's next governor, and that he believes teachers should be prioritized. Eligible Warwick residents who wish to register for a shot should log onto warwickri.gov/vaccine or visit the city’s website at warwickri.gov.
