Black Bears Visit Deck Of West Greenwich Home: WPRI
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said black bears are making a comeback in the Ocean State.
WEST GREENWICH, RI β A pair of black bears were caught on video paying a visit to the deck of a West Greenwich home, the station WPRI reported.
"The bears used the stairs to climb up to the deck and appeared to be snacking on birdseed that was left on the railing," WPRI said of the two bears.
Black bears were brought to the brink of extinction in southern New England but are in the midst of a comeback, according to the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
