West Warwick Man Nabbed On Weapon Charge: Cops

WEST GREENWICH, RI — A West Warwick man was arrested on a weapon charge Saturday, police said.

Alexander Carl, 27, was taken into custody shortly after 4:30 p.m. and charged with reckless driving and weapons Other than firearms prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Carl was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich, according to the release.

Carl was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, the release said.
