West Warwick Man Arrested On Cocaine and Weapon Charges: Cops
The West Warwick man intended to deliver the cocaine, police said.
WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man was arrested on cocaine and weapon charges, police said.
Hector M. Viruet Hernandez, 42, was arrested shortly after noon Monday and charged with manufacturing, delivering or possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, distribution or manufacturing in or near schools, and weapons other than firearms prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hernandez was arrested during a traffic stop on Main Street in West Warwick, according to the release.

Hernandez was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending an arraignment at Third Division District Court, the release said.
