Health Inspections: Two Woonsocket Eateries Cited
The following health inspection reports were submitted by the Rhode Island Department of Health for May, 2013.

McDonald's, 1900 Diamond Hill Road — Inspectors noted five violations on May 16:

- The establishment does not employ a full-time, on site manager certified in food safety. Regulation: Each food establishment where potentially hazardous foods are prepared shall employ at least one (1) full-time, on-site manager certified in food safety who is at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- There was no evidence that employees are required to report to the person in charge, information about their health (illnesses, symptoms) as they relate to diseases that are transmissible through food.
- No formal employee illness reporting agreement is in place, no guidelines for manager to follow in restricting or reinstating an employee who has been sick and who may return to work.
- Thermometers are lacking in the walk-in refrigeration unit. Regulation: Cold holding equipment used for potentially hazardous food must have at least one thermometer that is located to allow easy viewing of the temperature display.
- Gap under receiving door.
Papa Gino's, 1750 Diamond Hill Road — Inspectors noted two violations on May 16:
- Plastic cup are being used as scoop in container of Panko breading. Regulation: Utensils used to dispense non-potentially hazardous foods such as sugar and flour must be stored in the food item with their handles above the top of the food within the container. Action: Corrected during inspection.
- Gasket worn on reach-in freezer.
