Patricia A. Mitchell: Burrillville Tax Collector

Mitchell was a member of the Pawtuxet Rangers and the Glocester Light Infantry.

Patricia A. Mitchell, 51, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI, according to the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Mitchell.

Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Edward M. and Elizabeth Ann (Moreau) Tobin. She lived in Burrillville since 1985 previously living in Stoughton, MA.

Mrs. Mitchell was a Tax Collector for the Town of Burrillville and she had also worked for Liberty Mutual in Boston, MA. She was a member of the Pawtuxet Rangers and the Glocester Light Infantry.

She is survived by her son, Brendan P. Mitchell of Providence, RI, a stepson, Kevin J. Mitchell of Maryland and a brother, Edward Tobin of Boston, MA.

Her funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 183 Sayles Ave., Pascoag (Burrillville), RI. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
