WOONSOCKET, RI—A city woman was rushed to the hospital after she was stabbed in a West School Street apartment on Wednesday. Police said that the victim, 34, was stabbed during an altercation after 4 p.m. Woonsocket Det. Sgt. Matt Ryan told the Providence Journal<a href="http://www.providencejournal.com/news/20160608/woman-stabbed-at-apartment-in-woonsocket-police-say" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">that police are investigating and charges could be filed.</a> Police did not indicate the severity of the woman's injuries. More details will be posted if they become available.
