Divers found the body of a 12-year-old minutes after entering the water to search for the child near a Johns Island dock Sunday. The child had been playing tag with two other children near a dock at 3549 Joe Wright Road around 7 p.m. Sunday. When the child disappeared the playmates sought help from emergency officials, according to a Charleston County Sheriff's Office statement. Divers recovered the child's body shortly before 8:30 p.m. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessfull, according to another CCSO statement. Deputies, divers, air support and marine patrol all responded.

Divers were unable toe resuscitate the boy.
