- A multi-vehicle crash on I-26 left five people injured on Tuesday. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 220 just before 9:00 p.m. Traffic was backed up for almost two hours as officials closed the lanes to investigate the crash. No information about the extent of any of the victims' injuries had been released as of Wednesday afternoon. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- A man who had been missing in Charleston was located safely. The 32-year-old man, who was last seen on Feb. 26 near West Ashely, was found safe Wednesday afternoon. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- The Lowcountry Food Bank has raised over a half-million dollars for the fight against childhood hunger. The funds were raised during the nonprofit's annual Chefs' Feast Gala on Feb. 26. President and CEO Nick Osborne said, "Hunger is a solemn issue, but this great event brought the community together for a night of fun as we continue to create sustainable solutions that meet the needs of our neighbors who face hunger."
