St. Johns FD Leading Collecton Drive for Tornado Victims

JOHNS ISLAND – The St. John’s Fire District International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Local 3883 in conjunction with other area fire departments in the Low Country will be collecting items needed to assist the citizens and emergency workers in Moore, Oklahoma.

Needed items include:

  • bottled water
  • baby formula
  • personal hygiene items
  • dog/puppy food
  • cat/kitten food
  • diaper wipes
  • non perishable items
  • clothes (various sizes)
  • diapers (all sizes)
  • household cleaner
  • canned goods

The collection will take place from May 28 – June 7.  The donated items will be taken to Moore, Oklahoma on June 7 in a truck donated by Penske of Summerville. The items will be personally delivered to IAFF Local 176 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
