Charleston County Government Buildings Closed Friday Morning
County braces for Tropical Storm Andrea.

Clerk of Court Julie J. Armstrong announced that County judicial complex buildings will open to the public at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 7.
The reason for the delay is due to anticipated high winds, rain and possible flooding caused by Tropical Storm Andrea.

- Judicial Center, 100 Broad Street
- O.T. Wallace Building, 101 Meeting Street
- Historic Courthouse, 101 Meeting Street
 The following other Charleston County Government offices located in downtown Charleston will also open to the public at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 7:
- Charleston Center, 5 Charleston Center Drive
- Outpatient services (including Opiate Treatment Program clients) will be delayed until 12 p.m. Questions may be direct to (843) 722-0100, which is staffed 24 hours per day.
- Essential staff will still maintain the inpatient facility.
- Two Charleston County Public Libraries
- Charleston County Main Library, 68 Calhoun Street
- John L. Dart Branch Library, 1067 King Street
- The delay only impacts these two downtown Charleston libraries. If weather conditions worsen and other delays are needed, the information will be posted on the library’s web site – www.ccpl.org.
 At this time, no other delays or schedule changes are planned for Friday. County Government buildings that are not located downtown Charleston are expected to open to the public at normal time.
