  1. A Charleston man is dead after leading police on a chase Monday morning. Alexander Parks Holland, 29, allegedly did not stop for police who attempted to pull him over around 2:00 a.m. entering US 421 in Winston-Salem. The suspect reportedly shot at police multiple times during the chase and eventually crashed after about 20 minutes where he continued to fire at police. Holland was shot by police and was injured during the crash; the official cause of death had not been released as of Monday evening. (WCBD News 2)
  2. Commuters were faced with delays on I-26 on Monday morning. A crash occurred near mile marker 219 before 9:00 a.m. Traffic was backed up to Cosgrove Avenue after the right lane closed as crews worked to clean up the scene in the area of the Rutledge Avenue interchange downtown. (WCBD News 2)
  3. On Monday afternoon, a fatal shooting occurred at Liberty Mall on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was discovered by officers in the parking lot and declared dead at the scene. No suspects had been identified as of Monday evening. (Live 5 News WCSC)
