Charleston's Megan Pinckney Vying for Miss USA Crown

Charlestonian Megan Pinckney will be competing with 50 other young women for the title of Miss USA on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Crowned Miss South Carolina USA 2013, Pinckney is a 22-year-old University of South Carolina student studying fashion-merchandising. She also works as a legislative aide for a member of the S.C. House of Representatives.

The Miss USA Pageant airs 9 p.m. Sunday June 16 on NBC. It will also be livestreamed on Watch Miss USA 2013 Online.

The winner will go on to represent the United States in the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant.
