On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Charleston City Council will hold a special meeting on Johns Island for the purpose of hearing appeals from property owners who believe they should not be included in the Johns Island Municipal Improvement District. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in the Berkeley Electric Cooperative public meeting room, located at 1135 Main Road.Â

On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, City Council will hold its regular meeting at City Hall. The agenda for that meeting can be found at: https://www.charleston-sc.gov/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/_02092022-7200.

Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and the Omicron variant, it is strongly recommended citizens watch the meetings on the city’s YouTube channel and participate virtually. Citizens attending either meeting in-person will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours, as well as a valid ID. Masks must be worn at all times.
