CPD Investigating Women for Suspicious Behavior at OBGYN Offices
The Charleston Police Department is investigating two women alleged to have been distributing false medical information at area OBGYN facilities

A pair of women have allegedly been spreading false medical information at area OBGYN facilities, according to Charleston Police who say they are investigating them.
Officers picked up one of the women, Shavonda Hinson, on an outstanding warrant from Florida for aggravated assault, according to a CPD statement. She is awaiting extradition at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Police say that Hinson and Kimberly Alston have been engaging in suspicious behaviour at area hospitals and OGBYN facilities, including allegedly providing false information about medical conditions.

"Based on the information currently received, no criminal laws have been violated locally and the police are continuing to conduct inquiries into this suspicious activities report," Public Information Officer Charles Francis said. "Therefore, we are asking that anyone in the community who may have encountered the two individuals or may have information about their activities to please contact Sergeant David Osborne with the Department's Crimes against Person Unit at 843-720-2395."
