  1. Charleston police detectives need help identifying three men who were involved in a recent case of vehicle theft. The incident occurred at Elan Midtown Apartments on Jan. 16, and photos were captured of the suspects (available at the link). If you have any information about the incident, please contact the authorities. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office has identified a 7-year-old victim from a car accident on Feb. 16. Alex Nassyrov of Charleston died in a collision involving a 2008 Toyota van and a 1999 Ford pickup on Clements Ferry Road in Charleston. Three passengers who were in the Toyota van also sustained injuries. (ABC NEWS 4)
  3. Ahmed Fathy Hassan, 53, the owner of two Charleston convenience stores, has been charged with five counts of tax evasion. The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) arrested Hassan for underreporting his gross sales by over $1.2 million from 2016 to 2020. Hassan reportedly evaded about $115,000 in taxes.
