Update: Deputies Locate Missing Ravenel Man

UPDATE: Deputies report that Leroy Welcome, who was reported missing this weekend, has been located and is safe.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a missing 67-year-old man and is seeking the community’s assistance.

Leroy Welcome of Ravenel has been reported missing by his family who has not seen him since Sunday, Dec. 9, according to a Sheriff's news release. 

Welcome is under a physician's care and it’s believed that he doesn’t have his prescription medication.

He's described as a black male standing 6 feet 1 inces and weighing 200 pounds. His last known addres is 4319 Davidson Road, Ravenel.

Welcome is known to frequent the businesses on U.S. 17 from Red Top to the West Ashley area, according to deputies.
