Employee Arrested in Connection with Store Robbery
Police: Employee plotted with two others to rob employer.

Charleston Police have arrested an employee of the King Street Grocery at 435 King Street for the June 5 armed robbery of that business.
Antwan Dominique Bowman, 24, of Orange Grove Road, is charged with armed robbery and obstruction of justice, according to police spokesman Charles Francis. Bowman was being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Bowman is accused of planning the armed robbery with two other individuals. Chris Jamal Rickenbacker, 25, of Marlboro Place, North Charleston, was arrested July 3 and charged with armed robbery.Â

Police are trying to identify the third suspect, Francis said.
The incident occurred when two armed men entered the business and robbed it. The investigation revealed Bowman intentionally provided false information about the incident and withheld information from the investigators, Francis said.

Bowman was terminated soon after the armed robbery when the investigation revealed his involvement, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
