- The Charleston County Coroner identified the FedEx driver killed in a crash last Friday as 23-year-old Tyler Tumolo. Tumolo died after his truck veered off-center and crashed into a tree on Henry Tecklenburg Drive. The accident forced officials to shut down the road between Magwood Drive and Watchtower Lane for several hours. (WCBD News 2)
- A man has been arrested after police say he was found with various narcotics in his luggage at Charleston International Airport. Raul Suarez, 48, is facing charges, including possession of cocaine and drugs. Officers found cocaine, heroin, MDMA, and LSD after Suarez admitted to having marijuana and cocaine in his luggage. (ABC NEWS 4)
- Joseph Lee Campbell, 31, has been charged with two counts of third-degree assault and battery after a fight with his father turned violent. The incident occurred after Campbell had been out drinking and received a call from someone with drugs, which led to a fight with his father after the father told him that drugs were not allowed in the house. Campbell's brother tried to intervene and hit him with a box fan, and Campbell was later located by the Charleston Police Department and taken to Al Cannon Detention Center. (Live 5 News WCSC)
