The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Charleston County until 2:30 Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Flash Flood Warning for central Charleston County until 2:30 p.m.
Heavy rains have been falling over portions of James Island near James Island County Park, and water is ponding in roads and yards near the park. Flash Flooding is expected in and around the park, according to the warning.
NWS advises against driving through standing water because it is usually deeper than it appears and the underlying roadway could be washed out. Vehicles will stall in as little as one foot of water and can be carried away in as little as two feet of water. Flooding is leading weather-related cause of death in the United States.
