  1. A man was arrested on Tuesday after a police chase in Charleston. Mark Lee Frasier, 31, was charged with various crimes, including trafficking cocaine, unlawful carrying of a handgun, and possessing a firearm by a convicted felon. Lee was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center without bond. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. Sanders-Clyde Elementary School had a special guest visit on Wednesday. Inspirational speaker Chris Singleton stopped by to talk to students about chasing their dreams, heroes of the Black community, and more. Singleton, a former professional baseball player, said, "I do a lot of events, but anytime I get to do something in my hometown, it means so much more to me and get to impact where I live."   3. Nearby North Charleston's Park Circle redevelopment project is progressing. With the goal in mind that the park will be a place for everyone in the community to enjoy, Mayor Keith Summey says the project is expected to be completed in November. "As we progress in the quality of things that can be used for children and adults, we need to enhance that, and so this is something that we’ve needed to do for a long time, and it’s time for it to happen," said Mayor Summey.
