- An argument between employees on Monday afternoon at the Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in West Ashley ended with one employee cut with a box cutter. Police responded to the dealership on Savannah Highway for a report of a fight between employees and found Carlton Scott, 57, had cut the victim from his chest to his rib cage in what he says was self defense. As of Tuesday morning, Scott was at the Al Cannon Detention Center without bond on charges of assault/battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. - Preston Gavins, 30, of North Charleston was arrested Tuesday for a Peeping Tom incident that occurred early yesterday morning. Gavins reportedly was on the victim's balcony and peeked into the apartment through their sliding glass door and windows "several times" and is also accused of recording footage. As of Tuesday afternoon, Gavins was being held on a $100,000 bond at the Al Cannon Detention Center. (WCBD News 2)
- Two women were arrested on Monday at Charleston International Airport on drug-trafficking charges. Kenya Hare, 28, and Cari Pearson, 30, had an estimated $114,000 in marijuana which amounted to about 114.5 pounds. The pair was booked on the first offense charges for trafficking marijuana and were taken to the Al Cannon Detention Center. (ABC NEWS 4)
