One Shot at Game Room in Ladson
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at the Game Room in Ladson that sent one person to an area hospital

One person with a gunshot wound was transported to an area hospital from the scene of an early morning shooting in Ladson.
Deputies responded to the Game Room at 3792 Ladson Road in Ladson at 3:15 Tuesday morning and found the victim inside the business, shot in the abdomen, according to a CCSO statement.Â
A vehicle in the parking lot outside was damaged by gunfire as well, and investigators recovered several shell casings near the front door of the Game Room.

No suspects have been identified yet and the incident remains under investigation.
During the shooting investigation Charleston County Metro Narcotics Detectives also filed alcohol-related charges against the owner and manager, according to a CCSO statement.

Dubois D. Scott (manager), 33, of 2338 Corabell Ave., North Charleston and Chris L. Harris (owner), 38, of 615 Tribeca Court, Charleston, are each charged with one count of unlawful storage of alcohol/liquor in a business. The Game Room is not permitted to sell or store liquor, but detectives allegedly found bottles of liquor inside the business during the investigation, according to a CCSO statement.
The Game Room was the site of another shooting in December 2012, when a man opened fire on the club from the doorway after a fight involving several people broke out inside. One person was eventually charged in connection with that case.
