- An overturned dump truck on Highway 17 in Charleston County affected travel Wednesday afternoon. The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. near Ravenel in the northbound lanes near Highway 162. Traffic was backed up in the area, and one person suffered minor injuries. (WCBD News 2)
- Hospitalized children can virtually experience the South Carolina Aquarium via a roving robot controlled by a tablet. The experience is set to be incorporated at Prisma Health Children's Hospital Midlands and Prisma Health Children's Hospital Greenville after a trial with MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital proved successful in December 2022. Children will be able to "visit" the aquarium downtown during long hospital stays and treatments. The mobile robot was made possible by Aflac. (Subscription: Charleston Post Courier)

- A new bar, Hazel and Apple, is coming to King Street this spring. "The Hazel" will be an informal bar up front, while "The Apple" will be an elevated cocktail space complete with a patio. (CHStoday)
