  1. In conjunction with the Charleston Police Department, Mount Pleasant police issued 128 citations in four-and-a-half hours. The joint traffic operation issued most of the citations for incidents on the Ravenel Bridge and were speed related. According to police, two drivers were stopped after being clocked at going over 90 miles per hour. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Charleston on Friday morning has died. The crash occurred at 6:16 a.m. on the 200 block of Spring Street. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital where they eventually died of their injuries. As of Friday evening, the name of the victim had not been released. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. Country star – and Charleston native – Darius Rucker made a generous donation to a local golf team. The Baptist Hill Middle High School in the Charleston County School District was given golf clubs for the new golf team at the school. (ABC NEWS 4)
