Red Cross Welcomes New Hires in Palmetto SC Region

The Red Cross Palmetto SC Region added a trio of new staff members in the Lowcountry recently

The Palmetto SC Region chapter of the American Red Cross welcomed three new staff members Wednesday.

"We are thrilled to welcome these new staff members to our Red Cross team," said Louise Welch Williams, regional chief executive officer, American Red Cross, Palmetto SC Region. "Each individual brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success that will help expand the humanitarian mission of the Red Cross."

As Regional Major Gifts Officer, David Levite will be responsible for the cultivation and stewardship of financial donors to expand the mission and services of the Red Cross. Levite has more than 18 years experience in development and fundraising. He has held positions locally with Corporate DevelopMint, Winkler Group and Rogge & Associates, LLC. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

As Regional Communications Specialist, Lisa Quick will help build awareness of vital Red Cross programs and services by engaging the public through traditional and social media. Quick has more than 20 years experience as a communications professional. She has held positions locally with the Evening Post Publishing Company, American Heart Association, College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University and has previously worked for the Red Cross. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

As Regional Business Manager, David Hines will maintain the efficiency of the region’s operations. Hines has more than 15 years of experience in business management. He has most recently held positions locally with Patterson Dental Supply and Wild Wing Café. He is a graduate of the Citadel.
