Migraine Disease and its Symptoms Can Be Disabling
While the slogan for the bridge run is βGet Over Itβ many people with migraine are not able to βget over'' burdensome migraine symptoms like dizziness, head pain, mood changes, or cognitive issues. Migraine and its symptoms are the second-leading cause of disability worldwide.
βMy sister deals with migraine and it puts her out. It is a problem,β said Trish Bailey at the Cooper River Bridge Run Health and Wellness Expo. βI donβt think people realize how badly it can affect people.β
