Sheriff Investigating Shooting at Johns Island Convenience Store

Investigators are trying to determine exactly what led to a shooting at a Johns Island convenience store Wednesday night

At least one person went to the hospital after a shooting at a Johns Island convenience store Wednesday night.

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating what led to a shooting at the Kangaroo Convenience store at 503 Main Road around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Officers stopped one of the two cars allegedly involved on I-526 after it had dropped off one person at Roper St. Francis Hospital with minor injuries from the shooting, according to a CCSO statement.

Officers found the other car allegedly involved at a home on Walpole Way, Johns Island.
