An unusual odor alerted authorities to a deceased person found inside a residence on James Island.
The body was found at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1630 Folly Road.
Detectives and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office are on scene working to determine the identity of the deceased and the circumstances of the death.
